DECORATION DAY, RED POPPIES AND A MOMENT OF REMEMBRANCE!
Like all things creative, we find ways that serve our sentiment. And, over the years we have chosen many different customs to recognize those who have given their life through serving in our armed forces.
From raising the flag to cooking burgers in backyard celebrations, we pay respect and honor our fallen soldiers. This year we invite you to recognize the National Moment of Remembrance and pay your respect with a moment of silence at 3:00 pm local time on Monday, May 29, 2017.
So, while you’re chowing down at a vegan BBQ, sitting quietly by the water, or riding a bike in solitude; take a moment to remember. Remember the quality of thankfulness and appreciation. Remember those that give of themselves, for us. Honoring Memorial Day!
